UCL-MSSL PhD Graduation 2005
Five PhD graduates from MSSL attended UCL's 2005 graduation ceremony. They were (alphabetically):
• Dr Alexander Blustin (Astrophysics Group: supervisors - Dr Graziella Branduardi-Raymont and Dr Mat Page)
• Dr Christian Bridge (Astrophysics Group: supervisors - Prof Mark Cropper and Dr Mat Page)
• Dr Jon Lapington (Detector Physics Group: supervisors - Prof Alan Smith and Prof Len Culhane)
• Dr Tracey Poole (Astrophysics Group: supervisors - Prof Keith Mason and Dr Liz Puchnarewicz)
• Dr Rhaana Starling (Astrophysics Group: supervisors - Dr Liz Puchnarewicz and Prof Keith Mason)
It was a fittingly flamboyant conclusion to many years of hard work for both the students and supervisors, and the graduands and their families had a fun day out. They were also joined by two MSSL staff members (in costume!): Dr Graziella Branduardi-Raymont and Dr Gavin Ramsay (both of whom had also done their PhDs at MSSL).
