Provisional schedule and abstracts can now be found here
Ever wondered how to get a mission from concept to launch? Got a science question that can’t be answered by today’s missions? Got an idea for the a new mission/facility in heliophysics (solar/magnetospheric/ionospheric physics)?
This meeting is an open discussion for all members of the community and interested parties to learn about the processes involved in creating new missions and to put forth ideas for potential new missions. The meeting will consist of invited and contributed talks, as well as an open discussion on the heliophysical science to drive future missions and facilities.
The meeting is a follow up to the UKSP/MIST Missions Forum held at this year’s National Astronomy Meeting in Glasgow. Details of that meeting can be found at http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/journal/123467832/abstract
Abstract submission for this meeting is now open. Abstracts are solicited for presentations that discuss open science questions in the area of heliophysics and how these can be addressed and form the cornerstone of future missions . Abstracts can be submitted to: heliophys.missions@gmail.com . The deadline for abstracts is 25th June.
