Originally Skylark rockets were launched only from Woomera, South Australia.
In later days with the formation of the European Space Research Organisation
(ESRO, now ESA, the European Space Agency) the number of launch sites
expanded.
In the early days the payloads were prepared at RAE Farnborough; later this was
done at the British Aircraft Corporation (and its latter named companies) which
became the main contractor for the Skylark programme at Filton, Bristol.
Unfortunately no 'un-official' photographs are available since no personal cameras were allowed at the 'Range Head'.
