Notes
Removal of data
Data is removed under the following conditions:
- during MCP tests. MCP tests are detected by checking that both
sensors are in HAR mode, and that the MCP levels are varying.
- when the MCP levels for both sensors are set to zero.
- the first 3 spins after a PEACE instrument is switched on.
- the EFW probe-spacecraft potential is too large.

Versions
Important Note: the version number is given in the caveats. Do not use the
version number of the cdf file.
- based on MOMS_L2 (onboard) moments but using simple rules to
determine what sensor combination to use
- based on MOMS_L2 (onboard) moments but using simple rules to
determine what sensor combination to use
- solar wind moments from 2001-01-01 to 2001-09-11 have been removed
due to inaccurate on-board energy efficiences
- moments are removed when 88h58-72m12 when both photoelectrons and
the entire plasma electron population are in just the lowest of the
3 energy regions
- fill values in cdf files are now correct
