The angular diameter determines the number of images required to produce a panoramic view. The angular resolution determines the amount of detail visible at a given distance.
(0.75 milliradians = 0.043 degrees = 2.6 minutes of arc)

N.B. The white telephone is typical of the size and distance of rocks that the SCS may image on Mars.
