Early Colour Composite Imaging Test
The SCS produces colour images by combining images from the 480 nm, 530
nm and 670 nm filters to form the blue, green and red colour components.
The image below is a test image of a colour calibration chart taken in
day light with no radiometric calibration and so is not representative
of the final quality of the images to be returned from Mars. The odd tints
on the wall are due to variations in shadow intensity as the amount of
sunlight varies between the three exposures due to passing clouds.
