JONATHAN   O'REGAN

This Earth directed coronal mass ejection (CME) was observed by SOHO on 28th October 2003.
My Research Interests are
  • Effects of solar energetic particles (SEPs) on Earth's weather systems - such as clouds, lightning, and circulation patterns.
  • Possible physical mechanism for these efects.

A Solar Fact I Find Fascinating
"it is impossible for a solar eclipse to last more than 7 minutes and 58 seconds."

A Science Quote I Love is
''Aerodynamically, the bumble bee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumble bee doesn't know it is so it goes on flying anyway.''

One Fact About Me is
I used to be an architect !
