Operational overheads

XMM operational overheads are:

• Slew time to move to the target coordinates: variable, depending on the relative target position with respect to the starting spacecraft attitude; the XMM slew rate (except for the first slew after perigee passage and the last slew before perigee passage) is $20^\circ$/h.

• AOCS reference star acquisition time and fine trim to the actual target position after a slew - about half an hour per observation.
