Most people have heard that the Sun is a star, but in many ways it's very different compared to the stars we see in the sky at night. Howcome we now for sure that it is a star? The Sun seems to be a lot brighter than all the other stars and it is a lot more important to life on earth. How did it get here? What does it consist of? Why is it so important to us? Will the Sun always be there? Is our Sun the only of it's kind? We will try our best to answer those questions on this page. Never look at the Sun directly. Doing so will destroy the retinas of your eyes. |
