File Format

The UV source catalogue is a FITS file containing two tables. The first records the individual source properties, the second provides parameters exclusive to each observation. The source and observation tables are cross referenced by the N_SUMMARY data column.

FITS is the acronym for Flexible Image Transport System. Formats and standards for FITS files are provided by the HEASARC.
